Dear SWFL Country & Rock Lovers:. This event is for YOU. The festival starts on Thursday, but Friday is when the party truly begins with national artists Walker Hayes, Russell Dickerson & High Valley taking over the stage. On Saturday, tributes to Tom Petty and the Eagles will be followed by headliner Vince Neil – the voice of Motley Crue. The festival ends on Sunday with a 5k and Kids Run. Sprinkle in cirque performances, stilt walkers, fireworks, Polynesian dancers, carnival rides, a craft-beer garden, All-American carnival foods and of course, coconut-themed foods and you’ve got a weekend to remember. Nov. 9 – 12. Free on Thursday. $7 entry. $5 Military/Student. Children 5 and under free with paid adult ticket. Times vary by day.
Vegan beer is a thing and this weekend- we are drinkin’ vegan. The vegan turn up is so real this weekend. Vegan beer with naturally and humanely sourced grains, hops and yeast. Get your hands on a cider, wine and vodka-based green tea cocktail. There will also be food available from local Dairy Free Island, The Vegan Knife, BuddhaBlends – a plant-based food truck. As the weather cools down, it’s making for a more pleasurable experience outside. Why not take the kids to hang out with animals? Southern Fresh Farm’s Animal Day should be on your list for some family excitement this weekend. This is a fun, up-close experience with rescued animals including foxes, lemurs, snakes, and a crocodile amongst others will be lead by experts in an effort to further educate the community. A full lunch menu, gator bites, beer and wine will be available. So, clearly, you don’t have to be a kid to go! FREE Saturday, Nov. 11. Southern Fresh Farms. 8500 Penzance Blvd. Fort Myers.
We honor our veterans every day and officially on November 11th . Here at Hello SWFL, we love a good party that has an even better purpose. While you enjoy a free, outdoor concert with music by The Electric Mud, great beer, food trucks and a silent auction, you’ll also be supporting Miles of Smiles, an organization tfocused on supporting veterans suffering from PTSD. Join Old Soul Brewing as they celebrate their 3 year anniversary and honor those who have served our country. No cover. Friday, Nov. 11. Old Soul Brewing. 10970 S. Cleveland Ave. Fort Myers.
