There is literally something for everyone this weekend. If you love to drink, there’s a trolley for that. If you love BBQ & music, there’s a concert for that. Need a little outdoor exploration? Perhaps you need an adrenaline rush? We’ve got something for that, too. Happy Weekend!

Life is fair

The fair is back for its 94th year! This is SWFL’s largest fair. Aside from the normal fair attractions and food (I’m only going for the kettle corn and cotton candy), there are a ton of showcases to enjoy! From a lumberjack, to a petting zoo and a sea lion display, this fair has something for everyone! Feb. 22nd – March 4th. Varied pricing. Lee Civic Center. 11831 Bayshore Rd. North Fort Myers.

Cape Coral is home to the largest population of burrowing owls in the entire state of Florida. This weekend, join the Cape to celebrate the beginning of nesting season for these creatures as they make their way underground from now until mid-July. Enjoy bus tours to burrows, wildlife presentations, crafts for the kids, food and live music. $5 per person. Rotary Park Environmental Center. 5505 Rose Garden Rd. Cape Coral.

Bar Crawl

If a “Remixxed Hurricane” or a “Mardi Gras Madness Punch” gets your attention, make sure you board the trolley this weekend. Break out your masks, throw on some beads and get to the Cape this weekend. Onboard the Mardi Gras trolley, you’ll stop at various locations around South Cape and get a special event drink at each spot!
