Weekend Events: SWFL Goes Crazy for Coconuts!

It's the weekend! Here are a few things happening in Southwest Florida during the warm autumn days of November 9th - 11th.

COCONUT FESTIVAL
All weekend at 5 p.m.
Sun Splash Family Waterpark

If you took a fair and concert and rolled it all into one event - you'd get the Coconut Festival. The shows are broken up by genre. Friday night is country night, and Saturday is rock night. But let's not forget all of the carnival rides and carnival food.

Yes, that means funnel cakes.

SWFL Goes Crazy for Coconuts!

All weekend 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.

And if you want more funnel cakes head on over to Fort Myers for the annual Fair at Fenway South.

VETERANS DAY PARADE
Saturday 11 a.m.
Downtown Fort Myers

BIKE NIGHT
Saturday 6 p.m.
Downtown Fort Myers

The first one of the season, Bike Night is back! This free event is always a hit. Hundreds of bikes will fill the streets of downtown Fort Myers. You'll have the chance to test out a bike simulator that revs, brakes, and moves as a bike would.

VETERANS DAY 5K
Saturday 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Midpoint Memorial Bridge

This nighttime 5K ends at the Royal Palm Square with music, food and family-friendly activities. For tickets and pricing head to www.swflymca.org .
