Things to Do in Fort Myers and SWFL: Autism Speaks Walk, Fall Fest, and SWFL Pride Day

Fall Festival 
Southern Fresh Farms

The weekend of Oct. 6 is the start of the Fall Festival at Southern Fresh Farms . The free event will continue every weekend throughout the month of October.

Festival attendees will be able to enjoy crafts, food trucks, live music, wagon rides, and there’s also a petting zoo for the kids.

Owner, Robert McMahon, said the Fall Festival is way to bridge the gap between the community and local agriculture.

SATURDAY 

Naples 1st MomTrepreneur Expo
Saturday 9am - 1 pm
Fleischmann Park

This is Naples 1st MomTrepreneur Expo will showcase 25 mom powered businesses. It's a family event so feel free to bring the kids. There will be fun activities like face painting and tons of raffles and prizes up for grabs. 

Autism Speaks Southwest Florida Walk
Saturday 9am - 12pm 
Estero Community Park

On Saturday you can walk and raise money to help ensure people of all abilities have access to the tools needed to live their best lives. This event is open to the public but all who attend need to register either before or at the event. 

The 10th Annual SWFL Pride Day is this Saturday. They will have live music and entertainment, vendors, crafts and activities for all ages. Last year, more than 6,000 people attended SWFL Pride they are expecting just as big of a crowd this year. There is a suggested $5 donation at the door.

5:30 Food Trucks Arrive

6:30 Family Music Time Activity

7:00 Movie Begins

Watch Disney's CoCo for free with the family, Saturday night. There will be food trucks, musical activities, and free popcorn. The movie starts at sundown but food trucks will arrive at 5:30pm to give everyone time to get settled before the movie begins. 

Take note of road construction on the way to Jim Jeffers Park. The event organizers suggests taking Ceitus Parkway to navigate through the construction.
