Are you a SW Floridian who has had this conversation before?
Someone: “Have you ever been to the Shell Factory?”
Them: “Uhhm. Like a long time ago when I was in elementary school.”
Someone: “Yeah. Same.”
That’s pretty much how it goes, which is why I call the field trip to the Shell Factory “The Default SWFL Field Trip” – because it is.
At some point, while you were in school, you ended up there.
It’s interesting to go back there and experience it as an adult.
I can still see Little Shari Armstrong not caring too much about anything else, except for visiting the arcade.
But, what an fantastic 80-year-old history it has, what wonderful fudge to be found there and what dancing skills Anne has (watch the video to be impressed).
