The program was guided by the Leaders In Training of Excellence (L.I.T.E.) teen students, of which most reported to the crowd that they have a 3.0 GPA or higher. Over $60,000 were raised at the gala, which means the organization has raised 76% of the $1.5 million needed for the building expansion. The funds raised from this gala will go towards the construction of an exclusive teen building on the Q’s campus. The organization’s teen program has grown exponentially within the last few years, and the intent is to further expand it, with an effort to keep SWFL teenagers off the streets and in a thriving, positive environment.

Affectionately known as The Q in the community, the organization seeks to instill pride and leadership within its students to prepare them to be proactive community members.
