What’s Going Up Here?

This is our ongoing series to see what’s cropping up along the roads of the rapidly developing Southwest Florida.

Fort Myers Developers, 360 Sanibel LLC and Summerlin Ridge LLC, are building a 224-unit apartment complex. The project is complete with detached garages, a clubhouse, and a pool. The location for the complex is on corner of Pine Ridge Rd and Summerlin in Fort Myers.

The complex is to be named Heritage Gulf Lakes. Now, they have not yet published what the rent will be. If you think these apartments would be affordable, we have something for you to consider. The complex is 8.1 miles away from Sanibel Island, 4.3 miles from Fort Myers Beach, two miles away from the nearest hospital, and ten feet away from an Aldi’s Grocery store.

We recognize that every person has a different judgment on what is and isn’t “affordable.” Let us know if you think you’ll be able to live here.
