Well these apps want access to your profile, friend list, photos, tagged places and e-mail address…and some are concerned you shouldn’t be giving it to them.
The Better Business Bureau says hackers are getting your personal information from these quizzes.
Have you ever seen a pop up before taking a Facebook quiz? It’s asking you to give access to your private information.
The Bureau says scammers include embedded links in these quizzes that can cause a security breach on your personal account.
Facebook’s data policy says “Information collected to these third-party services is subject to their own terms and polices, not this one.”
Once you click allow, the third party could have a different set of rules when it comes to your private information.
Be careful and don’t give away answers to common security questions.
