Daylight Saving Time. All the time.
It was supposed to take effect July 1.
Governor Rick Scott signed that bill months ago in March.
It’s called the “Sunshine Protection Act”. While the rest of the eastern time zone would go back an hour in the fall, we would stay at the same time and keep that extra sunshine.
However, Congress still has not approved and they get the final say on this.
No time frame has been reported on when Congress is actually going to make a decision.
