There's some bad news for all of you creeps out there. Starbucks is reportedly planning to stop its customers from looking at X-rated material online in its coffee shops.

According to Business Insider, Starbucks is working on new technology that will supposedly stop customers from watching pornography on Starbucks' free public Wi-Fi.

So you can no longer have your iced latte with a side of porn.

No More Porn at Starbucks

Apparently, this is happening because of pressure that has been applied by non-profit safety organizations wanting the company to block X-rated sites for years. But to be clear, watching pornography is already banned at Starbucks locations. Until now, there haven't been content blockers on the stores' Wi-Fi networks.

But F-Y-I there are just some things you shouldn’t do when using free Wi-Fi, especially in a public setting. We spoke with lifestyle and etiquette expert Elaine Swann about free public Wi-Fi manners.

Obviously, the first thing she says is don’t watch porn! It’s just not appropriate and can rub people the wrong way.

Second, avoid extreme violence. Whether it’s a website or a 30-sec video. For example, you’re watching someone getting stabbed or killed and a kid walks by and sees your screen. Seeing that violence could have a really bad impact on the kid, or anyone else.

Swann says it’s those types of videos that can be just as bad as watching pornography. You also want to avoid things that are offensive to race, gender and people’s religions. But the bottom line is considerate when using free Wi-Fi. They don’t have to provide it.

Whenever you're using free public Wi-Fi, just stick to things like checking emails and doing homework. Avoid breaking any laws or offending someone just coming in to get their daily cup of Joe.
