Starting on Oct. 20, amateur baseball players will stroll out to the field for the 30th Annual Edition of the Roy Hobbs World Series.
Every year, more than 10,000 baseball players, divided into 240 teams, head to Fort Myers to play to compete for the championship.
The teams, which will play at half a dozen ballparks throughout Fort Myers, are divided by age groups ranging from 35 to 75 years old. Team members come from all over the United States and abroad.
The series will run until November 19.
