Red Tide Slowly Moving North, Almost Gone in Collier County

Red tide seems to be going away, depending on where you live. We did some digging on the Florida Wildlife Conservation page, and found that Collier County is pretty much red tide free!

As for the rest of SWFL, it looks like red tide is trying to make its way out of here. Manatee and Lee County have seen a five to 25 percent lower concentration of red tide.

Charlotte and Sarasota counties still aren’t looking too hot, with high red tide levels.

The tide seem to be moving north, as far as Bay County, which is nearly 500 miles away in the panhandle.
