Monopoly: Fort Myers Edition

Pass go and collect $200.

You can also purchase Fort Myers Beach. Wait what?

Fort Myers-Opoly features some of the most popular spots in town including McGregor Boulevard, Downtown House of Pizza, and Lovers Key State Park. The board game has been on sale at four Walmart locations across Lee County for the past week.

However, the new game is not owned by Hasbro. It was created by Late for the Sky Production Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. They created 500 to 600 sets of the game to start and will make more based on demand, according to Co-Owner Bill Schulte.

They’ve created over 200 different board games coast to coast, basing their locations on research, word of mouth, and information from the Visitor’s Bureau.

A Naples version of the board game also went on sale earlier this year.

You can purchase your own set for just under $20!
