Middle School Students Might Have to Handover Their Cell Phones

Oasis Middle School students might have to hand over their cell phones.

On July 13, 2018, Oasis Middle School faculty members will discuss the proposal. If everyone is on board, then kids will have to place their cell phones in a pouch at the beginning of every class.

Teachers at the Cape Coral school found that most students are distracted by their cell phones.

A study from Meuhedet Health Services found that cell phones are not only a distraction to students, but it also disrupts the quality of sleep, promotes obesity and leads to aggressive behavior because children haven’t learned how to deal with stress.
