Lice Clinics of America

The dreaded “L” word — Lice, can mean full-on stress for parents!

With more than 12 million cases of head lice reported in the U.S. each year (according to the cdc.gov), these tiny critters leave parents across the country “buggin-out.” Due to the heat in Florida there isn’t an off-season for these pests either. Ew! Also, turns out, lice are attracted to clean hair, so the stigma that only dirty children get it, is all wrong.

Luckily, you’re not alone if it comes time to battle an outbreak, Lice Clinics of America in Bonita Springs serves both Lee and Collier counties. After Hurricane Irma hit, the clinic had to shut its doors due to flooding. But now lice expert, Jeffrey Randolph has reopened and typically serves about 5-25 families a week with infestations.

The center guarantees that their treatments will help families struggling to get rid of lice once and for all. Their treatment system, doesn’t use chemicals, but still claims to battle “super lice,” which are immune to over-the-counter products and prescription methods of removal.

Personally, I hope I never need to book an appointment for my sons, but I feel better at least knowing that there is this local option that could help if needed.
