If your water smells, looks or tastes different next month, don’t worry – you’re not alone.
From May 1st through May 29th Lee County Utilities is temporarily converting their disinfectant process. It’s a routine measure to ensure your water is free of bacteria and safe to drink.
However, if you use a kidney dialysis machine, you’ll want to contact your supplier for filtering equipment. And if you have tropical fish or aquatic animals, head to your local fish store to get appropriate pretreatment for your water tank.
If you have any other concerns, call Lee County Utilities at 239-533-8845
