Judge Rules Against Early Voting-on-Campus Ban

U.S. District Judge Mark Walkere has ruled against a ban that would prohibit using college and universities campuses for early voting this election year. Now the Secretary of State Ken Detzner has to tell all 67 counties that they can use college campus buildings for early voting this fall.

It’s unclear how many campuses are going to be registered for early voting sites, but this will give students an opportunity to get involved.

There are plenty of ways to be a part of the voting process. Students can register to vote by mail or online in Florida, but they have to register before Monday July 30th to vote online.

To register by mail, you need to register 29 days before the election. so you have time to register to vote by mail for the general election in November.

If you’re from out of state you can register to vote in both states. but if you vote twice in the same election, that’s illegal and there’s a good chance that you’ll get caught.
