Jet Blue Airlines is now offering free air travel . They are also working with Lyft to provide ground travel in the Parkland area.
This effort links back to the recent Parkland shooting. 17 individuals lost their lives at to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, when 19 year-old Nikolas Cruz allegedly entered the school and shot classmates with an AR-15 rifle.
JetBlue has placed volunteers at a Family Assistance Center in Parkland to help book flights for family members of victims affected by the shooting.
Although it was an emotionally traumatic event for those involved, JetBlue stresses they are only offering services for family members of victims who were hospitalized or killed.

These services will only be available for 30 days, so it will end on March 14th, 2018.
