Collier County residents will have the chance to vote on an increased county sales tax this November during the general election.
The tax would go from six percent to seven percent if approved.
The wording for the ballot question was approved earlier this year. It goes in to detail on how the money would be used.
The increase would end after seven years or after $490 million is made. $420 million would be collected by the county an the rest would go toward Naples, Marco Island and Everglades City based on population.
