Cape Coral Police Department Looking for Car Burglars

The Cape Coral Police Department needs your help tracking down some car burglars.

Do you know these guys? Have you seen them before?

If so the Cape Coral Police Department needs your help.

They posted still images from a surveillance video on their facebook page hoping someone would recognize these three guys.

They were caught on camera breaking into cars on NE 24th Ave last week.

They used the darkness of the night for cover and the breaking in part was easy for them considering the victims had not locked their doors.

The thieves got in and grabbed anything they could get their hands on.

The police department is even calling one of the guys “Mr. Cat Eyes” because of his glowing eyes on the surveillance video.

Mr. Cat Eye was caught again breaking into more cars this week.

Police say they don’t know how old these guys are, but they appear to be between 16 and 24-years-old.

If you think you can help police catch them call their non-emergency number at (239) 574-3223 to get in contact with the proper investigators.

And don’t let this happen to you. Be smart and lock your doors to stop thieves like these from getting into your car.
