Marco Island's Tigertail Beach

Tigertail Beach Park in Marco Island, FL is a unique experience for visitors.

An $8 parking fee is required to park but this secluded hidden gem is worth the price. A boardwalk takes visitors past a restaurant/bar that offers beer and light food and a kid-friendly playground.

The end of the boardwalk leads to a quiet lagoon with an observation tower to take visitors to a higher level. The lagoon is home to many different species of wildlife and this beach park is part of The Great American Birding Trail. So, it is a hot spot for all of the bird people out there.

A short 2,150 feet distance will end at the Gulf of Mexico and the scene is completely different. Around the bend, a huge expanse of white sugar sand leads right to the beach and offers a spacious beach day perfect for families.
