Art Fest is back in full swing! This festival is a celebration of the visual and performing arts, featuring over 200 artists from all over the country. It is for avid collectors and collectors on a budget. This highly selective and juried show allows you to meet the artists behind the work. With a high school exhibit & competition, a chalk street art competition for local high schoolers and a special Art Yard for designing shopping bags, jewelry and snacks, you’re looking at art for the whole family. The ponies are coming and they’ll have magic marker painted tails! What more do you need in life? The decked out ponies of All Small Ponies are making children’s wishes come true this weekend by bringing the babies to Southern Fresh Farms. You don’t have to travel to Plant City to get it on that good Strawberry Festival life. We’ve got out own! The first annual Strawberry Festival is this weekend. The Clydesdales will make an appearance, and there will be lots to do – including face painting, a petting zoo, a strawberry pie eating contest, live music by the Ben Allen Band and of course, lots of food! No matter what type of music you love, I think we can all agree that there reggae music is truly universal. There’s something about the vibe, right? You can’t help but sing “One Love” when you hear it! Soak up all of the reggae vibes this weekend, as The Freecoasters, known for their blend of Southern soul and reggae, take the stage at Society.
