At the festival, you can expect your classic seafood finds plus a new addition to this year’s line up of food: lobster meals and rolls. Fort Myers Pro Rodeo
Professional cowboys and cowgirls from all over the country will be in SWFL this weekend for the 6th annual Fort Myers Pro Rodeo. From bull riding and calf roping to steer wrestling and saddle bronc, you’re in for the full on, traditional rodeo experience, and we’re told that these are some of the top talent from around the country. Head out and judge that for yourself, partner. $10 for children $20 for adults. March 23 & 24.
Sounds of Jazz and Blues
Need a little relaxation? A moment to just…chill? How about by the water? The annual Sounds of Jazz & Blues festival just might be where you need to be this weekend. Imagine the ideal fusion of jazz, rock, gospel, soul and funk from three singers – including one Grammy-nominated singer- guiding you into the weekend, while you enjoy great food and the beautiful view the marina has to offer. Calusa Con Comic & Pop Culture Event
This is a family-fun pop culture event! Comic book, magazine, anime, cosplay and anyone who loves anything that has to do with these genres lovers, check this out! They’ll be a ton of industry professionals hosting a series of panels, demonstrations and entertainment for you and your family. Learn how to make and promote comic books, and check out the show cars. Lots of fun for everyone. $10 in advance. $15 at the door. Kids under 11 are free. March 24.
