African Dance Classes in Lehigh Acres

My family is from Barbados, but my love and fascination for African dance comes from right here in Fort Myers.

At the time, it was known as Colours Cultural Dance School and it was located in the Royal Palm Square. I also took classes from Colours at the STARS Complex. But, I have to admit that it has been years since I’ve taken a class and these bones/muscles made sure to remind me of that.

Performer, Producer, Writer, Actress and dancer, Bianca Russell, also attended Colours. The difference is that she became a successful and influential dancer. She is unbelievably talented and she is back in SWFL, teaching African dance to students in Lehigh Acres.

I had the pleasure of participating in her inaugural class. You can join Bianca every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Footnotes Dance & Music Studio in Lehigh Acres.
