Big Boi’s BBQ Plans to Bring Jobs to Fort Myers

Southwest Florida native and entrepreneur Curt Sheard is the face behind Big Boi’s BBQ.

Curt took his BBQ sauces to the A&E reality TV show, Rooster & Butch, and won up to $1 million to invest in his BBQ sauce business

But this is not his first round at the investment table. In 2014, Big Boi’s won $5,000 in the American Dream Seekers entrepreneurial competition. One of the judges even offered Curt another $25,000 to investment in his business.

Curt,45, was born and raised in Fort Myers and currently resides in the Dunbar community.

With his new round of investment, Curt plans to keep the business right here in Southwest Florida. He will use the money to open a production center in Fort Myers, which equates to more jobs for the area.

Big Boi’s BBQ also plans to source tomatoes from Immokalee, which will be used for sauces and ketchup.

The show aired on February 7, 2018 and we tried to get Curt on the phone for a one-on-one interview but from the looks of his instagram page, his phone has been ringing off the hook.

Curt, when you have time let’s connect.
