Iguanas are a huge problem in SWFL. They are not native to this area and are causing damage to a lot of seawalls in Lee County and Cape Coral.
We spoke with wildlife trapper Alfredo Fermin to get a first-hand look at the issue. Fermin claims he catches up to 10 iguanas an hour at some of his client’s house, it is his job to trap/eliminate them.
