Nature is an enigma to the modern man. For every tree glanced at, a thousand pixels are visually consumed. So in this skyless age, Earth Day has become more important to the stabilization of humans than ever before, and no organization seems to have realized this saddening fact more than the National Parks Service. In an effort to entice consumption of natural beauty, the service has called for national park week, an entire 7-day extravaganza where YOU the human can take in all the earth has to offer, for absolutely no charge!
Locally participating in this event in Everglades National Park, which has been a dedicated preserver of the natural world since 1947. The park is hosting a Park RX Day on the 23rd of April, a group walking event to help people of all ages start to travel on the path of getting into shape!
